En el desarrollo de las clases, donde se realizan las prácticas de entrenamiento y capacitación, existe un universo contenido en lo que se conoce como Dojo (Lugar donde se practican las Artes Marciales), en él se encuentra un Lugar de Honor (Joseki) donde se ubica la imagen del creador del Judo y la bandera Nacional, es el lugar al que todos deben saludar al ingresar.
En el Dojo se encuentra el ó los Maestros y sus ayudantes, lo que representan la máxima autoridad del lugar.
Los alumnos y practicantes, nuestros compañeros. A los cuales les debemos el respeto y la cortesía por compartir cada clase, cada momento de la práctica.
La clase se divide generalmente en una entrada en calor seguida de una serie de ejercicios para fortalecer nuestros cuerpos, y luego el desarrollo de técnicas con repeticiones, combinaciones, en distintos tiempos e intensidades. La práctica libre de estas técnicas, tanto de pie, como en el suelo.
En este Universo el Maestro nos va indicando los pasos a seguir, y los alumnos respetando el orden por jerarquías de graduación y antigüedad, ejecutan cada una de las instrucciones. Saludando respetuosamente a su compañero al inicio y terminación de cada batería de ejercicios.
Con las prácticas se van puliendo diariamente las distintas aristas de la personalidad de cada uno de los judokas, generando un clima de compañerismo y fraternidad.
A partir de las primeras clases ya comienza a incorporarse los siguientes valores:
LA CORTESIA: Implica el respeto por el otro.
EL CORAJE: Es hacer lo que es Justo.
LA SINCERIDAD: Expresarse libremente, sin mascaras.
EL HONOR: Ser Fiel a la palabra dada.
LA MODESTIA: Es hablar de si mismo sin orgullo.
EL RESPETO: Sin respeto no puede nacer la confianza
EL CONTROL DE SI MISMO: Es callar en momentos de ira, controlar las pasiones.
LA AMISTAD: El más puro de los sentimientos del ser Humano.
LA LEALTAD: Siempre existe la garantía de la mano, del consejo y la amistad, de la persona leal.
LA GRATITUD: Es agradecer toda enseñanza y todo bien recibido.
El aspecto más importante y relevante del Judo es sin duda alguna, la educativa: Forma Maestros, Instructores, Técnicos y Árbitros. Pero forma excelentes personas, con valores morales y éticos, que señalan la conducta de cada judoka como ejemplo a seguir, no solo es un atleta, sino también un artista marcial, un ser que busca su continua perfección en todo y cada una de sus facetas físicas, espiritual e intelectual.
